Tour assembles 1530 at the Francis Hotel, Bath, for three nights. Afternoon lecture: Soli Deo Gloria – A Survey of Bach’s Life and Achievements followed by evening festival performance.
Morning visit to the Herschel Museum of Astronomy followed by early afternoon festival performance. Some free time. Evening festival performance.
Morning lecture: Borrowing from the Neighbours – French and Italian Influences on Bach’s Music followed by late morning festival performance. Afternoon visit to the Roman Baths. Evening festival performance.
Morning visit to the Holburne Museum followed by tour dispersal.

FITNESS / PRACTICALITIES
This tour involves a fair amount of walking, which can be over uneven or uphill sections of pavement. Our visit to the Herschel Museum will involve walking up steep stairs (with handrails), as there is no lift, and our visit to the Roman Baths will involve traversing uneven surfaces and navigating dimly lit areas. Participants should meet ACE’s usual fitness criteria, as outlined in our Booking Terms & Conditions.
Cost of £1245 includes: accommodation based on sharing a twin or double bedded room, five festival performances, breakfast, dinner with water & coffee, excursions & admissions, gratuities.
Not included: travel insurance, double room for single use supplement £120.
