Adam White,
PhD


Dr Adam White, art historian and museum curator, is an expert in country house collections and one of Britain’s leading authorities on English sculpture of the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods. He originally studied French and Philosophy at Oxford University before gaining a PhD in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art. He currently works as the Hon Curator of Collections at Lotherton Hall in Yorkshire. Publications include A Biographical Dictionary of London Tomb Sculptors c 1550 - c 1660 (1999) and Lotherton Hall Guidebook to the house (2007).
