Charles Hind,
MA, FSA


Charles Hind is Chief Curator and H J Heinz Curator of Drawings at the Royal Institute of British Architects. He has published widely on architectural history from the 16th to the 20th centuries. He has a particular interest in European architects working in Russia in the 18th and 19th centuries, and in Palladio, having curated several exhibitions in Europe and the USA on or related to Palladio. Charles is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and a Visiting Fellow at the Centro Palladio in Vicenza. He is also a Trustee of the Georgian Group, the Lutyens Trust and the Great Dixter Charitable Trust.
