Vietnam

A multitude of cultural influences have shaped the Vietnamese nation. Hanoi, Vietnam’s first capital, is home to faded yet stately colonial buildings and centuries-old temples, and just south can be found the Perfume Pagoda, a Buddhist sanctuary set in a huge grotto. Hué became the capital of a unified Vietnam in 1802, and it is now adorned with elaborate citadels, palaces, mausoleums, temples and pagodas. Meanwhile, further highlights of Vietnam include the turquoise waters of Nha Trang Bay, and Cat’s Tooth Mountain, surrounded by a verdant valley.
