Assemble at London Waterloo Station 0800 for departure by coach and ferry via Dover, arriving Calais 1430. Continue to Dieppe for visit to Red Beach (Operation Jubilee, the Dieppe Raid) and overnight stay at Hotel Mercure Dieppe La Présidence.
Morning: Pegasus Bridge and Pegasus Memorial Museum followed by lunch at Café Gondrée (the ‘first house liberated in France’). Afternoon: Merville Battery and Ranville War Cemetery. Continue to Caen for four nights at Best Western Plus le Moderne. Evening lecture: Operation Overlord – The Plan.
Morning: Sword Beach and Hillman Bunker followed by Arromanches (Landing Museum and Mulberry Harbour). Afternoon: Longues-sur-Mer Battery and Bayeux War Cemetery and Memorial.
Morning: La Cambe German Cemetery followed by Sainte-Mère-Eglise and the American Airborne Museum. Afternoon: Pointe-du-Hoc, along Omaha Beach to Normandy American Cemetery. Free evening.
Morning lecture: Operation Overlord – The Breakout followed by visits to Hill 112 and Bretteville-sur-Laize (Canadian Cemetery). Afternoon: Saint-Lambert-sur-Dive and Montormel Memorial.
Depart Caen 0830 by ferry, arriving Portsmouth 1315. Continue to London Waterloo Station by coach, where tour disperses.
