This music tour to Dresden includes some highlights from the Festival Programme:
• The Mariinsky Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev performing in the newly renovated Dresden Kulturpalast.
• Pianist Francesco Piemontesi performing works by Mozart, Liszt, Schnaus and Schubert.
• The Prague Philharmonia conducted by Emmanuel Villaume with soprano Diana Damrau and bass-baritone Nicholas Testé performing opera arias by Meyerbeer, Massenet, Verdi and others.
• Franz Lehár’s opera The Merry Widow performed in the Dresden Semperoper.
