Stella Grace Lyons is a freelance Art History lecturer and speaker accredited with The Arts Society (previously NADFAS). She lectures regularly throughout the UK, Europe, and in Asia.
Stella gained her BA in the History of Art with a 1st class in her dissertation from the University of Bristol (2007-2011), and her MA in History of Art at the University of Warwick. She spent a year studying Renaissance art in Italy at the British Institute of Florence, and three months studying Venetian art in Venice. In addition, she attended drawing classes at the prestigious Charles H. Cecil studios in Florence.
Her particular interests include 19th Century British art, the Italian and Renaissance, American figurative artists from the 20th century and the representation of the nude in art. In addition to her lecturing work, Stella is a regular model for the internationally renowned artist Harry Holland.
In 2020, Stella will be running several tours for ACE exploring 19th and 20th century art across the UK - in destinations ranging from Sussex to Oxford, and Manchester to Leeds. Further details will be released on the ACE website and in our brochure later in 2019.
