Philip Kenrick, MA, DPhil
Philip is an archaeologist who read Classics at Balliol College, Oxford, where he also gained his doctorate in connection with British excavations at Benghazi (ancient Berenice).
Philip has worked in Libya at Lepcis Magna, Benghazi and Cyrene and produced a major volume on Sabratha. He has also worked on excavations near Agrigento in Sicily and on other sites in Italy, Turkey and Jordan.
Philip, who is a specialist in Roman pottery and is treasurer of the Society for Libyan Studies, is the author of two Libya Archaeological Guides: Tripolitania (2009) and Cyrenaica (2013).
