Art historian Patrick Bade, MA, is a lecturer for the University of Glasgow MA programme at Christie’s Education in London. He has worked at Christie’s since 1981, where he also gives courses on the history of opera. Publications include Femme Fatale: Images of Evil and Fascinating Women (1978) and a number of monographs on 19th and early 20th century artists such as Degas, Renoir, Burne-Jones, Beardsley and Tamara de Lempicka.
